The problem is not guns
Having been young, once in my life I can say beyond question that Music/music video and computer games are a top influence to a young person.
Combine that with a trend to remove God, Country and Family from schools and you have a bad enviro for young people.
The "Gangsta Rap, Cop killin, and Satin Worship" music we have today
sets the stage for what is happening.
When you glorify criminal behavior in Movies and Music, a tree surgeon can understand what the effect on society will be.
I may also add it is because of this, that it is so important for good citizens to be able to have personal protection
along with a host of other reasons.
Of course the tidal wave of drugs from Mexico and criminals from every nation on the planet does not help any. If you have lived in a full sized city in one of the more international states and regardless of if gun ownership is legal or not you know you need a gun in your home to protect life.

My first and last rumor
I have heard strong rumors that 2 or 3 former nations in the E.U. will have a total Collapse in 12 to 18 months.
The cause is no jobs and industry, astronomical taxes, and socialized health care. I can not say for sure it is true, but I hope that many will look into it.

Credit where credit is due
I'm not a Catholic but credit should be given where it is long overdue.
The media was busy covering the fires in California.
At the same time some brave Catholic priests stood up to, and opposed Hugo Chavez and a possible Communist take over of Venezuela.
I do not apologize for using the [Politically Incorrect] term "possible Communist".
You would be wrong to say I hate "possible Communists" because, I really do not hate anyone.
I guess it would be best to use the [Politically Correct] term,
Possible Anti-Communist to describe me.

Fidel Interrupts TV to Show 'Fahrenheit 9/11'
Michael Moore's anti-Bush documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" got a prime time airing on Cuban state-run television Thursday.
Fidel Castro interrupted the regularly scheduled broadcasting, as it were, to show the film after it played to packed cinemas for a week, during which Cubans allegedly stood in long lines to see rough DVD copies projected at 120 cinema theaters across the island to what Reuters called "unfailing applause."
"We hope this film will lead Americans to see the reality of their government, and not only deny Bush reelection but put him on trial for the harm he has done to humanity," retired worker Armando Rodriguez told Reuters.
"The film is a work of love for humanity. It confirms what many of us believe, that George W. Bush is a real threat to the world," added University of Havana professor Arnaldo Coro Antich.
In a speech on Monday, Castro also quoted Moore's book "Stupid White Men" which questions Bush's ability to read.
Cuban dissidents who saw "Fahrenheit 9/11" however, praised the United States for its freedom of expression and lamented that such criticism of a president was not allowed in Cuba where the one-party state controls the media.
